The dog breed Great Dane is a German breed of domestic dog known for its giant size. The German name of the breed is Deutsche Dogge, or German Mastiff. 1. did you know that Great Danes were once used for hunting boars?

2. did you know that Great Danes are actually very gentle and love to cuddle! ( Great Danes actually think they are regular sized lap dogs )
